I need A doctor.....
I've been cleaning my attic getting ready to move in to an old victorian sweet factory that's now artist live/work studios. It's an incredible location just by tower bridge. I've had this turn of the century doctors bag in my attic so I decided to do a look with it in my attic.
I use the bag but it needs repair on one side. It's beautifully constructed, as is the Westwood shirt. When you study the tailoring of Westwood garments, the technicality is incredible. You don't relise the difference between designer and high street until you get your hands on some designer items.
This shirt is for sale on ebay here:

A Child of the Jago
A very cool brand 'A Child of the Jago' put on by far the best show I've seen all week. I'm biast to this sort of style. Check out Vivienne Westwood with the orange hair on the right in the front row.

London Fashion Week
So today was the first day of Fashion week, lots of fun, lots of pictures, lots of criminally insane people. Corrie Nielsen was the highlight of today, very progressive stuff. Below are a few shots from the Bora Aksu show, Ann-Sofie Back Atelje / BACK and Jean-Pierre Braganza (which were the only ones worth posting). The real star was Lenny the pug, with his 2" tongue that permanently swang about.
I did a little shop in Zara, and picked up this Hogwarth'sesque Blazer. It is 'felt' like to the touch and gives a classic British back to school look. The corduroy trousers are also from Zara and can only be described as the closest thing to wearing no pants in public, the little bit of stretch in'em makes them extremely comfortable.
The location is the basement of Somerset House. I snuck down there and couldn't believe what I saw. It has the most amazing corridor with a natural clerestory lighting effect. The arches, which were the underbelly of the above foot bridges made me feel as if I had stumble upon a secret Roman city. If you get a chance, visit Somerset House, it's incredible.

Water for Elephants
I finally watched Water for Elephants last night. I wasn't expecting it to be as captivating as it was. As a long time vegan I've always been a lover of animals, so I naturally grew fond of Robert Pattinson's character Jacob.
I don't normally get inspired by costume design, but I absolutley love that period. It occurred to me that I have elements of a similar outfit to Jacob, so I threw one together. Differences were the original suspenders in the movie are way cooler and I swapped out the boot cut wool trouser for a tapered version, sorry I just don't do boot cut! Topman head to toe.

Windsor
When you walk around the countryside of England, you realise where the inspiration for all the Victorian fairytales came from. It truly is a magical place. Great windsor park which overlooks the worlds oldest occupied castle is no exception. Home to the Queen of England, it doesn't get more classic than this.
The Autumn is rolling in and I couldn't be happier. I had an old pair of skinny carrots lying around which I used to love. I brought them into this season by washing them with bleach. The outcome was a golden hue. Great topman fit with an original one of a kind colour.

Purple pants
Picked up a pair of purple pants at topman. Not sure I could pull them off but surprisingly enough there not as loud as I thought. They feel great and they are the perfect transition colour into the autumn. At £44 they're a must have.
